BUSINESS AND ECONOMY GROUP

 

The Business and Economy Theme Group has been established as a sub group of the Advancing Castle Morpeth.  The key roles of the Group are as follows:

 

·        To share information between relevant local partners and stakeholders;

·        To develop partnerships and collaborative working across Castle Morpeth;

·        To identify shared issues, gaps and opportunities;

·        To work together to address these issues, gaps and opportunities through the development of projects;

·        To act as an advisory function as part of the Castle Morpeth’s Local Strategic Partnership Commissioning Framework;

·        To work to a shared strategic action plan and feed in to the agreed LAA targets; and

·        To lobby sub-regional, regional and national partners where appropriate, providing a strengthened voice on issues relating to Castle Morpeth.

 

All organisations and agencies that support businesses and/or promote economic prosperity in Castle Morpeth are welcome to become members of this theme group.  This group seeks to be inclusive and broadly representative of the organisations/agencies operating in Castle Morpeth.
