The Town had a sparkling display of flowers this year, making it one of the best Towns in Northumberland to visit. The high standard of cleanliness, wonderful heritage sites, floral displays in the shopping precinct and in Carlisle Park were all assets to the Town

Morpeth has worked hard to achieve the high standards to win many awards this year.  It is down to communication, team work and the ‘roll your sleeves up’ hard work that has given us the awards we deserve. The dedication that the volunteers and paid staff have given has certainly made the grade. I am sure that many of us have made new friends and have a better understanding of each other and how we work.
