Castle Morpeth BC Draft Empty Property Strategy
 
Castle Morpeth BC has recently developed a Draft Empty Property Strategy, which is to be the subject of public consultation. The Strategy has been developed so that the Council can work with the owners of private sector dwellings so as to bring them back into use. Empty properties are a wasted resource, and can often be in poor condition which can have an impact on the wider community.
 
One of the key parts of the Strategy is to work with communities and their representatives in the identification of empty properties. Therefore, if you are aware of any empty properties in your area, please let me know.
