The Housing Strategy is one of the strategies and policies that the Council is required to produce for assessment and scrutiny by central government. In the Strategy the Council has to show its understanding of the housing needs and housing problems of the Borough, with an assessment of available resources and recognition of the key partners the Council must work with to address housing need effectively.
