Open 1 Apr-30 Sep, daily, 1000-1700; 1-31 Oct, daily, 1000-1600; 1 Nov-31 Mar, Thursday - Monday 1000-1600. Closed 24-26 Dec, 1 Jan.

By train - to Morpeth station (10 miles)

By bus - 808 from Newcastle, Arriva 508 from Newcastle train station (Sun in June - Oct only) tel  0870 6082608 for further details.

By car - 14 miles north west of Newcastle upon Tyne on the A696.
